Mentoring and Coaching is very similar to consulting, but with a different ordering of priorities. As consultants our primary focus is to ensure the success of your project. As mentors, our primary focus is on the individual and team growth and learning that occurs during the course of the mentoring.
We mentor within the specific context of your project.
Classroom training is typically the fastest way to learn the base skills of a new technology, but mentoring is the best way to sharpen those skills so that you can competently apply them. As mentors, we coach you to solve real problems on real projects, helping each team learn from their perspective projects, decisions, and situations.
As mentors we typically spend four to ten days a month working with your team for the duration of your first project.
We also provide organizational and portfolio level coaching to assist your organization as it transitions to corporate level Scrum.
